Curaçao Animal Rights Foundation (CARF) was founded on May 29, 2008. CARF is committed to protecting the welfare of (stray) dogs on the island of Curaçao.
CARF’s mission focuses on the following major goals:
- Creating and raising awareness about proper animal care;
- Foster and care for abandoned and neglected strays;
- Placement of stray animals through an adoption program with suitable families.
Wings for Animals regularly brings needed supplies for CARF and colleagues enjoy going for a walk on the beach with the dogs.
