It is with great sadness that we learned of the recent passing of beloved primatologist and environmental activist Jane Goodall. Jane profoundly influenced the world with her groundbreaking research on chimpanzees and her tireless commitment to conservation and animal rights. She was 91 years old.
Her passionate work in Gombe, Tanzania, led to important discoveries about the behaviour of chimpanzees and emphasised the need for a harmonious relationship between humans and nature. Jane’s message of compassion and commitment inspired millions of people around the world to work to protect our planet and its inhabitants.
As a tireless advocate for animal welfare, she has taught us to to treat all living creatures with responsibility and respect. Her legacy lives on in the work of her foundation and in the hearts of everyone who has been touched by her inspiring life.
