We regularly receive great updates from projects we support.
Like the story of Heritage, a pangolin again running free through nature again after a long medical battle, which shows why this support is so important.
Pangolins are unfortunately the most illegally trafficked mammal in the world. They are threatened by poaching because of their scales and meat.
Thanks to the dedication, medical care and endless efforts of the Umoya Khulala Wildlife Center, Heritage received the time and treatment she needed over and over again. Even when her release had to be postponed again at the last minute, the choice was not for convenience, but for what was best for the animal.
And now she is where she belongs, back in the wild.
We are proud to support projects like this. With your help!
These are projects that look beyond quick results. Who choose diligence, expertise and compassion, and who keep going even when the going gets tough.
With great thanks and respect to the team at Umoya Khulala Wildlife Center.
P.S. All pangolins are cared for at an undisclosed location. For their safety and that of their caretakers.
